People say funny things sometimes. Well to me they seem funny at least. Often, I hear folk say “You can’t live without money.” They preach it as fact. Yet it’s an utterly false statement. Human beings survived very well for thousands of years before we invented currency. While our modern civilization does require currency, humans don’t need this civilization to survive either.

We do need clean drinking water, breathable air, and nutritious foods. Those are things humans factually cannot survive without. Yet our civilization has done much to poison all three of these very basic needs. Namely in the pursuit of that currency we have delusionally accepted as more important.

That’s funny, isn’t it?

Tragic?

I get the two confused, but how can you not laugh at a bunch of clowns performing such a circus act?

I guess it’s not as funny if the clowns are enslaved. Forced to do the bidding of some unseen ringmaster. Coerced, manipulated, or under the threat of violence. Who among us wouldn’t pick up a unicycle and honk the big red nose? Meh, what do I know, I am just a bozo.
