~Poetry~
Flow Like Water
There is a thread sewn
Within each breath in and out
Souls bind to body
You feel a peace here
Among the sounds of silence
Earth whispers subtly
A raging river
Flows uninhibited, free
It’s force stops for none
It cannot be seen
Though heard and felt, it moves us
Go dance with the trees
Blink once and it’s gone
So fleeting, ephemeral
Cherish those moments

The stringing-together of haiku is a neat approach. The beginning and ending wrap up the ends nicely. Beautiful, evocative, well done! 🙏

Thank you, I really appreciate the feedback! The Haiku Handful series is drawn from a collection of poems which, at the time of writing, are unrelated. Often with months of time separating their creation. I do my best to string them together by theme, tone, or subject and find in doing so create new meaning, or perhaps deepen the original ideas.

You’re welcome! They do fit together well, I think. Hope you’re having a good weekend, by the way. 😄
